Police Arrests Teacher for Alleged Sexual Assault on 13 Year-Old Girl in Ogun
The Ogun State Police Command has apprehended a private tutor, Femi Onayemi for allegedly defiling a 13-year-old girl. Upon his arrest, Onayemi reportedly confessed to the crime.

The Ogun State Police Command has apprehended a private tutor, Femi Onayemi for alleged sexual assault on a 13-year-old girl in Obada-Oko, Ogun State.
According to an anonymous source within the State command, Onayemi had earlier been hired by the girl’s parents to tutor her at home in 2023.

Reports revealed that the survivor’s parents were taken aback when Onayemi allegedly scaled the fence of their home to gain access to the 13-year-old’s room. The suspect was subsequently arrested by law enforcement authorities.
Omolola Odutola, the spokesperson for the state command, confirmed the incident, stating, “The parents of the minor approached our division at Obada Oko on June 12, 2024, to report the incident. The suspect was employed in 2023 to assist the survivor with her studies at home. However, on June 9, 2024, the suspect was caught committing the crime after he had jumped over the fence of the house. Our officers swiftly responded to the matter.”

The investigators also revealed that the suspect attended the same church as the survivor, raising further concerns. Upon his arrest, Onayemi reportedly confessed to the crime.
