The Pragmatics Association of Nigeria (PrAN) in collaboration with the Department of English, Lagos State University (LASU), is set to host the PrAN-LASU 2025, 8th International Conference and Workshop.
The event will take place from July 21st to 24th, 2025, at the Aderemi Makanjuola Lecture Theatre, LASU Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos.
The conference theme is "Pragmatics of Existence," and it will feature keynote speakers, including Professor Don Nilsen, Emeritus Professor of Linguistics at Arizona State University, USA, and Professor Wale Adegbite from the Department of English, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
Researchers and scholars are invited to submit abstracts of 200-300 words in MS Word format to pranlasu2025@gmail.com before the deadline of Sunday, June 15, 2025. The conference aims to provide a platform for intellectual discourse and knowledge sharing in the field of pragmatics.
