Prof. Patrick Ukase of Prince Abubakar Audu University has been conferred the prestigious Fellowship of the Historical Society of Nigeria for his contributions to historical scholarship.

Prof. Patrick Ukase, Director of the Centre for Pre-degree and Diploma Studies and a prominent Professor of Political History and Development at Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, has been awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN). This recognition took place during the ongoing Conference/Congress of the Society in Yenegoa, Bayelsa State.

Prof. Ukase, who also serves as the Secretary General of the HSN, was honored for his longstanding contributions to the advancement of historical scholarship in Nigeria. His dedication to the study and promotion of Nigeria’s history, alongside his leadership within the Society, has earned him this esteemed recognition.
