Sixty-five indigent students of the University of Abuja received a welcome relief on Saturday as they were granted scholarships by the Hajiya Hadiza Mamman Vatsa Foundation, a renowned philanthropic organization founded by Ambassador Hadiza Mamman Vatsa.

The presentation ceremony, which took place at the school campus, was met with emotional expressions of gratitude from the beneficiaries, who include orphans and other underprivileged individuals struggling to finance their education.

In attendance were dignitaries such as the immediate past Majority Leader of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Honourable Murtar Baje, and the Head of the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Abuja, Professor Sharif Ghalihu Ibrahim, along with the University's Vice Chancellor, Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na’Allah.
