Ritman University has taken a bold step towards promoting environmental sustainability by launching the Well of Science Green Club on its campus.

The initiative, made possible through the support of Access Bank, aims to engage students and the wider university community in sustainable practices and environmental conservation.

The Green Club was officially launched on November 20, 2024, with a vibrant engagement session led by the Well of Science team. Mr. Ubong Inyang, the Operations Manager, Favour Graham, the Project Manager, and Martins Bassey, the Green Club Lead, were on hand to provide students with valuable insights on sustainability principles and the role of young leaders in driving eco-friendly initiatives.

During the event, Ritman University’s Acting Vice Chancellor, Apostle Dr. Udosen, welcomed the team and expressed the university’s commitment to fostering a culture of sustainability. "We are committed to promoting sustainability both on campus and beyond," said Apostle Dr. Udosen. "We appreciate the Well of Science for this initiative and look forward to future collaborations to champion environmental conservation."

In recognition of the university’s commitment to sustainability, Well of Science also donated a waste receptacle to Ritman University, symbolizing the shared goal of environmental stewardship.
