RUGIPO students demand justice for late colleague allegedly murdered by Amotekun

Some students of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic (RUGIPO) are demanding justice for one of their colleagues who was allegedly murdered by Amotekun operatives in cold blood.

Myschoolnews reports the angry students stormed the Ondo state government house with the corpse of the deceased identified as Ademola Alayori to protest  his untimely death demanding that the Amotekun agents that killed him be brought to book. 

 

It was gathered that before he passed on, Ademola narrated the said incident in a voice note that was shared amongst his schoolmates stating that on July 4, 2022 he was at home and had just finished eating when his brother who is an apprentice at a barbing saloon walked into the house.

He further alleged that he was shot in the process of struggling and dragged by the operatives to their office where he was kept in a cell with a dog that was licking the blood from his wound.

 

He added that from the cell, he was taken to the Federal Medical Center in Owo after his condition worsened, and thereafter an operation was carried out on him.

 The said injury later led to his death in the hospital.
