Sa'adu Zungur University Celebrates Vice Chancellor Professor Fatimah Tahir Achievements

Sa'adu Zungur University (SAZU) is proud to reflect on the numerous accomplishments of its Vice Chancellor, Professor Fatimah Tahir, since assuming office. The university community is celebrating her exceptional leadership and commitment to excellence.

 

The Vice Chancellor has implemented various initiatives to enhance the university's infrastructure, academic programs, and student experience. Some of the notable achievements include the transformation of laboratories, commissioning of a world-class ICT and library facility, and construction of perimeter fencing, additional hostel blocks, and a pedestrian and automobile networking street.

The university has also introduced new academic programs, including diploma, top-up degree, and HND to BSc conversion, and has restructured its admission process to ensure merit-based admission. Furthermore, the university has launched collaborative workshops with the Center of Excellence for Research and Innovation (CERI) to enhance research and innovation capacity.

The Vice Chancellor's leadership has also resulted in the introduction of a one-time school fees payment system, eliminating unnecessary dues and simplifying the payment process for students.
