Sa'adu Zungur University Extends Sympathy to Staff Affected by Fire Incident

The Vice Chancellor of Sa'adu Zungur University, Professor Fatimah Tahir, has expressed deep sympathy to the families of three staff members whose residences in the Senior Staff Quarters were ravaged by a fire incident on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

The affected staff members are Dr. Hamma Mohammed, Malam Bello Adamu Yakubu, and Malam Mukhtar Mansur. Fortunately, no lives were lost, and no physical injuries were sustained, although personal belongings and properties were lost.

The university management has pledged to provide support and assistance to the affected families. The prompt response of security and fire services from Azare helped bring the situation under control.
