Sa'adu Zungur University Issues Disclaimer on Hostel Accommodation Scam

Sa'adu Zungur University has issued a disclaimer to the general public, particularly parents, regarding the alleged extortion of money by individuals claiming to assist students in securing hostel accommodation.

The university stated that it has a designated official channel for collecting service charges and warned that any transactions made outside of this channel are done at the individual's own risk.

Specifically, the university named Mr. Abubakar Salisu Tela, a former staff member whose appointment was terminated due to gross misconduct, as an individual who has been implicated in these extortion allegations.

The university advised students and parents to be cautious and to only use the official channels for payment of service charges to avoid falling victim to scams.
