On Tuesday, Prof. Johnson-Akubo announced the commencement of the screening process for candidates applying to undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the 2024/2025 academic session, noting that the process will be conducted with heightened vigilance.
“There is no room for compromise when it comes to the admission of undergraduate and postgraduate students into various courses offered by our six colleges,” he stated. The colleges include the College of Law, College of Humanities, College of Natural and Applied Sciences, College of Education, College of Information and Communication Technology, College of Management and Social Sciences, as well as the College of Graduate Studies and the Pre-Varsity school.
Prof. Johnson-Akubo highlighted Salem University’s commitment to producing graduates who are mentally alert, spiritually alive, and intellectually developed to positively impact their world. He noted that the university’s academic programs are fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and are designed to meet industry and professional needs, as well as the challenges of job placements in the labor market.
