The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Armoured Division, Major General AE Abubakar, has assured that security in Plateau State has significantly improved over the past few years. His remarks came during a courtesy visit from the State Coordinator of NYSC Plateau, Mr. Yavala Jonathan I., and his management staff at the 3 Armoured Division, Rukuba Barracks, Jos.

General Abubakar praised the effective collaboration between the NYSC and the military. He expressed appreciation for the State Coordinator’s decision to visit the military as one of his initial actions upon assuming duty. The GOC commended the NYSC Director General, Brigadier General YD Ahmed, for selecting one of his top officials to lead the scheme in Plateau State.

The GOC also acknowledged the commendable performance of corps members stationed at the cantonment and assured their continued welfare and security.
