At the opening of the 2023/2024 TETFund Entrepreneurship Intervention Training on October 30, 2024, the Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies (CENTS), Prof. Emily Ayo-John, urged participants to engage fully in the skill acquisition program, emphasizing its potential to offer additional income streams and combat economic challenges. Prof. Ayo-John underscored the importance of entrepreneurship in reducing unemployment and promoting sustainable development, describing it as a crucial tool for financial empowerment.

Addressing attendees at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Prof. Ayo-John highlighted key principles of entrepreneurship, including revenue generation strategies like marketing, word-of-mouth promotion, and networking. She also advised participants to prioritize cost management as a way to maximize profit margins.
