Skyline University Nigeria hosts Easy Learning School and Sweet Heaven High School

The management of Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) has welcomed the final-year students of Easy Learning School and Sweet Heaven High School today, 11th January 2024, on its campus for its changing gear workshop.

The program is aimed at supporting final-year students in making the right career choices.

In her opening remarks, Ms. Sarada Maganti, the Director Academic Support Services (DASS), expressed her gratitude to the management of the schools on behalf of SUN management. She explained that youth need the right guidance to make the right decisions for the success of their careers.

Delivering his lecture titled ‘Artificial Intelligence’, Dr. Ashok Kumar, a lecturer in the department of Computer Science at SUN, said the world has undergone a great transformation in technology over the last 30 years. He added that machine learning and artificial intelligence will continue to transform human activities rapidly.

He also stated that there are numerous jobs for people who have pursued careers in machine learning and artificial intelligence all around the world. This is because the companies are prioritizing robotic activities, citing instances of Microsoft and Google.

Dr. Kumar also explained that it is not only by studying machine learning and artificial intelligence that one can be a part of the global tech user – doctors, lawyers, communicators and geographers, among others, have also been factored in by software engineers with apps like Google Meet, Zoom, Slack, Asana, e.t.c.
