The Sokoto Book and Arts Festival (#SOBAFest), the premier literary festival in Sokoto State, is excited to announce Zainab Abdulrasaq as the curator for its fourth edition. The announcement was made on August 1, 2024, by the festival's founders, who praised Zainab's significant contributions to the literary and cultural scene in Sokoto and her consistent support in previous editions.

Zainab Abdulrasaq, a final-year student of Linguistics at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, brings a wealth of experience and passion to her new role. She has been a dedicated contributor to SOBAFest and served as a team lead for the previous edition. Her extensive involvement in the literary community includes founding The WordingsClub, managing the Book O'Clock Store, and serving as Vice President of the Book O'Clock UDUS.

In addition to her leadership roles, Zainab is a prolific writer and art enthusiast. She is a scriptwriter who graduated from the TAFTA Academy, a content creator for TedXSSU’23, and an active Instabookstagrammer.
