Sunusi Ibrahim Partners with FULafia to Boost Campus Sports Development
Nigerian football star Sunusi Ibrahim, currently playing for CF Montréal, has partnered with the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) to enhance sports infrastructure and activities on campus.

In a recent courtesy visit led by Prof. Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu from the Physics Department, Sunusi Ibrahim expressed his commitment to advancing sports at FULafia. During the visit, the footballer praised Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman for his sports initiatives and emphasized the importance of unlocking youth potential through athletics.
Prof. Abdul Rahman welcomed the collaboration and reiterated the University’s dedication to modernizing its sports facilities. He tasked the sports directorate to work closely with Ibrahim to explore avenues for enhancing campus sporting activities.
Mr. Williams Auta, representing the sports directorate, expressed gratitude for the partnership and anticipated improved performance from the University’s athletes.
Sunusi Ibrahim, a Keffi-born forward, began his career with FC Basira Football Club in Lafia before playing for Nasarawa United in the Nigerian Professional Football League.
