TASU Gears Up for Accreditation: Medical Laboratory Science Department Receives High Praise from Accreditation Team

 The Vice Chancellor Prof. Sunday Paul Bako and Management team Welcomed the Registrar, Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria, Dr Tosan Erhabor, alongside  his team members, for accreditation exercise which will commence tomorrow .

The team also commended the Executive Governor of Taraba State AGBU Kefas for his strong vision, unwavering commitment to the provision of qualitative university education, and the infrastructural development and other hightech facilities in the university. 

The team were satisfied with the facilities provided for the take- off all the programmes. They also recommended to the university further measures to be taken to improve on the current facilities towards accreditation exercise.

The Department when accredited will equip the students with the technical knowledge in handling health related issues, as well as give the students the opportunity to be licensed and certified health practitioners, who can discharge their duties within and beyond the shores of the country effectively.

The Vice-Chancellor remains committed to ensuring that the University compete with other institutions of learning in the country to put the Health sector of the country on the right track.
