Team Adfusion Wins 3rd ADWAVE Competition at UNILAG
Team Adfusion emerged victorious in the third ADWAVE competition hosted by the Mass Communication Students Association (MCSA) at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
The Mass Communication Students Association (MCSA) at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) successfully hosted the third edition of the ADWAVE competition, with Team Adfusion emerging as the overall winner. The team, consisting of Abayomi Oyinkansola Tiffany, Adeyi Oluwadamisire Ebunoluwa, and Atakpa Iniobong Oreoluwa, impressed the judges with their exceptional entry, earning them the grand prize of N200,000.

The competition saw participation from 16 teams, with the judging panel comprising Adebayo Orisirisi, Creative Lead at Publicis Africa, Nigeria, and Tola Arowa, Senior Manager of Human Resources at Insight Redefini. The grand finale took place at the Biodun Shobanjo Multimedia Centre of Excellence, UNILAG, on Tuesday.
Team Matrix, composed of Afolayan Ithiel Olushola, Adedeji Salman Abdusalam, and Nnam Chinaza Daniel, finished as runners-up, receiving N150,000. Team Mavericks, featuring Nkama Esther Chinyere, Ayodeji Adora Anjolaoluwa, and Olatunji Oluwademilade Esther, secured third place and a prize of N100,000.
MCSA President Soremekun Samson praised the participating teams for their impressive entries and industry readiness. He highlighted the competition's role in showcasing exceptional talent and fostering healthy competition and collaboration.

Sponsored by Insight Publicis, a leading marketing communications company in Nigeria, this year's ADWAVE competition challenged entrants to develop a comprehensive 360 marketing plan for a fictional fintech company. The annual event aims to upskill and build capacity among MCSA members, preparing them for their future careers in the marketing communication industry.
