Thomas Adewumi University Partners with US Varsity in Landmark Collaboration

Thomas Adewumi University (TAU) in Oko, Kwara State, Nigeria, has entered into a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bowie State University (BSU) in Maryland, United States. Prof. Francisca Oladipo, the Vice Chancellor of TAU, expressed optimism about the collaboration, emphasizing the institutions' commitment to innovation and excellence. Dr. Aminta H. Breaux, President of Bowie State University, highlighted the importance of international education in broadening students' perspectives and experiences.

The signing ceremony was attended by officials from both universities, including Dr. Guy-Alain Amoussou, Provost of BSU, and Chief JBO Adewumi, Chancellor of TAU, among others. US Congressman Oye Owolewa also commended the milestone achievement, noting its potential impact on the economic development of the Kwara South community and opportunities for young people.
