Thomas Adewumi University Students Secure Second Runner-Up Position at CIMA National Challenge

Team Diamond from Thomas Adewumi University (TAU) has achieved a significant landmark, emerging as the Second Runner-Up at the 2025 CGMA Business Leadership Challenge organized by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

The national finals, held on December 11, 2025, at the Nigeria British Chamber of Commerce in Lekki, Lagos, featured a competitive field of over 60 teams representing 10 universities nationwide. TAU secured the third-place position, following Baze University (Winner) and Covenant University (First Runner-Up).

TAU's journey to the national finals included winning the University Round and subsequently defeating Landmark University in the Regional Round.

The Vice-Chancellor of TAU, Professor Francisca Oladipo, commended the students on the feat, describing the achievement as a testament to the institution's commitment to producing globally competitive and industry-ready graduates.
