Tragic Accident Claims Life of Respected University of Maiduguri Professor

The University of Maiduguri community is mourning the untimely loss of one of its most esteemed professors, Professor Hadiza Sindama Pindar, from the Faculty of Agriculture.

The tragic accident occurred on  Monday 9/10/2023, and her passing has left a void that will be difficult to fill.

Professor Pindar, a native of Hawul Local Government in Kwajjafa Bura, Borno State, Nigeria, was not only a distinguished academic but also a dedicated and compassionate educator who touched the lives of many students. Her contributions to the field of Agricultural Extension were invaluable, and her absence will be deeply felt by the university community.

The news of her passing has left her colleagues, students, and friends in shock and grief. She served as the Head of the Department of Agricultural Extension (AGX) and was a pillar of support for the Faculty of Agriculture. Her dedication to her work and her commitment to the success of her students were evident to all who knew her.

The University of Maiduguri extends its deepest condolences to Professor Pindar's family, loved ones, the Department of Agricultural Extension (AGX), and the entire Faculty of Agriculture. Her loss is not only a tragedy for the university but also for the entire academic community in Borno State and Nigeria as a whole.
