In a historic achievement, 17-year-old Nina Mitchell has shattered records at DeKalb High School in Illinois, United States, becoming the first-ever black female to secure the prestigious best graduating award with an extraordinary 4.549 GPA.

Nina's groundbreaking accomplishment has not only earned her academic acclaim but also positions her as a role model for aspiring young black and female students. Expressing her pride, Nina stated, "I am representing Black students and female students. They can look up to me and say, ‘Wow. Nina did it, so I can do it.’ That was really important for me."
