In a powerful testament to determination and resilience, Dr. Isaiah L. White Sr., an African-American man, has achieved academic success by obtaining a Doctorate degree (PhD) from Wilmington University in New Castle, Delaware, United States.

Dr. White faced significant challenges, including dyslexia, dyscalculia, audio processing disorder, visual impairment, and comprehension weaknesses, leading to his attendance in special education classes. Despite enduring bullying and discouragement from teachers who doubted his potential, Dr. White remained steadfast in his pursuit of success.

In his 2019 book, Dr. White candidly shared his educational journey, revealing instances of repeating classes and graduating high school with varying subject proficiency levels. Despite a rocky start in community college with a 2.3 GPA, he progressively improved, earning a Bachelor’s degree with a 2.9 GPA, a Master’s degree with a 3.0 GPA, and finally, his doctorate degree in education with an impressive 3.67 GPA.
