UCH School of Nursing Boosts Learning with 10.2KVA Solar Inverter Donation

Educational activities at the School of Nursing, University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, received a significant boost on Tuesday, 28 April 2026, with the commissioning of a 10.2KVA solar inverter system.

The project was made possible through a strategic partnership between the Association of Moremi Women of Southern California, USA, and the School of Nursing UCH Alumni Association (SONUCHIAA).

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the Principal of the School of Nursing, Dr. Olanike Olaniyi, emphasized the vital role of stable power in modern medical education. She noted that reliable electricity is a "critical requirement" for sustaining research, administrative efficiency, and the high-tech demands of contemporary teaching and learning.
