UDUS 200-level Political Science Student Emerges as NANISS Chairman

Jatto Abdulsamad, a 200-level student from the department of Political Science, has been inaugurated as the Chairman of the National Association of Niger State Students (NANISS), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) chapter.

His inauguration as Chairman of the National Association of Niger State Students (NANISS), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) chapter, took place on October 1, 2024, at A10 Lecture Hall, Faculty of Arts and Islamic Studies (FAIS).

At the inauguration ceremony, M. A. Mohammed, the association's Public Relations Officer, highlighted the event's importance, noting, "The inauguration ceremony, where leadership is passed on to capable executives working in the interest of all Niger State students on campus, is a historic event for the association."

Speaking with our correspondent, Jatto Abdulsamad, the newly inaugurated Chairman, pledged to protect the interests of Niger State students and promised to bring further development to the association during his tenure.

"On behalf of the executive team and myself, we promise to promote and protect the interests of Niger State students, and assure you of making quality service our main priority," he said.
