During a courtesy visit by the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry Class of '84, Prof. Bayeroju acknowledged UI's current 6th position among African universities while stressing the ongoing efforts to sustain and exceed this ranking. She highlighted that achieving this goal hinges significantly on alumni contributions and engagement.
Expressing gratitude to the visiting alumni for their continued loyalty and support, Prof. Bayeroju encouraged them to not only give back to their alma mater but also to maintain connections with fellow graduates, citing research that suggests such social bonds enhance longevity.
Assuring the alumni of the university management's full support for their upcoming 40th anniversary reunion scheduled for August 2nd-4th, 2024, Prof. Bayeroju pledged assistance to ensure the event's success.

In his remarks, Prof. Labode Popoola, representing the President of the Class and Chairman of the 40th Anniversary Planning Committee, outlined the objectives of the reunion.
