Thirteen distinguished Nigerians were conferred with Honorary Doctorate Degrees during the 10th annual Leadership Summit and Induction ceremony held at Balogun Subomi Hall, University of Ibadan.

The prestigious awards were presented to eminent personalities from various sectors in recognition of their outstanding contributions to their fields and to humanity at large. Among the awardees were notable figures such as Rotimi George-Taylor, CEO of Gotham Group of Companies; Engineer Egan Adat Okon-Effiong, an IT Engineer and Business Analyst; Joseph Oladokun, Executive Director, Technical at Mutual Benefit Assurance; and Dawood Olalere, Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ibadan North West Constituency.

Also honored were Okong Effiong, Assistant Inspector General of Police, Special Protection Unit; Olugbemiga Akibayo, Managing Partner at BDO Professional Services Limited; Diamond Okiemutie Uju, Executive Director of Futureview Group; and Abiodun Great Bello, an expert in the oil sector.

The ceremony, organized by Prowess University Delaware, USA, Institute of Arts Management & Professional Studies (IAMPS) in collaboration with Ecolerite Institute of Peacebuilding, aims to celebrate individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and made significant impacts in their respective fields.

Professor Eze Nwauba, African Representative of the University, highlighted the importance of honoring these individuals who have gone above and beyond in their service to humanity. He emphasized that the awards recognize not only professional excellence but also contributions to societal development.
