Casio, a renowned brand known for its scientific calculators, has recently introduced a new product specifically designed for the Nigerian educational market.

The aim of this product is to promote and assist mathematics education for both teachers and students in Nigeria.

The official unveiling of the new product took place at the Casio Education Conference 2024, which was backed by SKLD Integrated Services and powered by Casio.

During the event, Hamza Aoun, the assistant educational development manager of Casio Middle East and Africa Fze Education Business Marketing Division, highlighted the significance of the new product in advancing mathematics education in Nigeria. Among the notable figures present at the unveiling ceremony were Mr. Jamiu Tolani Alli-Balogun, the Honourable Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education in Lagos State, and Mrs. Obianuju, the Director of Education Planning and Management at the Federal Ministry of Education.

The Senior General Manager of Casio Japan also played a key role in introducing the new product to the audience. The product in question is the Casio FX-9910NG Plus, a model exclusively tailored for the Nigerian market.  Explaining the motivation behind this development, Tomoaki Sato, Senior General Manager of Casio Japan, stated, “One of the reasons is to support mathematics educators who have limited time in the classroom.
