McPherson University Invites Applications for 2024/2025 Postgraduate Admission

McPherson University has commenced the sale of admission forms for its 2024/2025 Postgraduate programmes, both on a Part-time and Full-time basis. Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for various courses offered under the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Masters (M.Sc), Masters of Philosophy (M.Phil), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D), and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) categories.

Admission Requirements:

1. PGD in Computer Science:

• Applicants must hold a B.Sc. degree in any related discipline or an HND in Computer Science.

2. M.Sc. in Computer Science:

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science with at least a Second Class Lower Division.
• Alternatively, candidates with a Third Class degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus a PGD in Computer Science may also apply.

3. Ph.D. in Computer Science:

• Requires fulfilment of M.Sc. admission criteria with a minimum average score of 60%.
• Candidates with exceptional performance in M.Phil may be considered for direct transfer to Ph.D. candidacy.

4. MBA:

• Candidates must have five O' Level credits including English Language and Mathematics.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division is required.
• Holders of HND with professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, etc.) and PGD are also eligible.

5. M.Sc. in Accounting:

• Requires five O' Level credits including English Language, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce/Accounting, and two other commercial or social sciences subjects.
• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking and Finance, or Economics with at least a Second Class Lower Division.

• Visit the McPherson University Postgraduate Portal: https://mcu.edu.ng/index.php/postgraduate/
• Create an account using a unique username and password.
• Fill in personal details including a functional email address and phone number.
• Make payment for the application form online.
• Complete the application form accurately and submit.
• Print the acknowledgment slip for future reference.
