NYSC Ogun State Coordinator Strengthens Partnership with Ogun Customs Service

In a bid to enhance collaboration and strengthen partnerships, the Ogun State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mrs. Olayinka Diana Nasamu, paid a courtesy visit to the Ogun State Customs Comptroller, Comptroller Bisi Alade, at his office in Abeokuta earlier today.

The Ogun State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mrs. Olayinka Diana Nasamu, paid a courtesy visit to the Ogun State Customs Comptroller, Comptroller Bisi Alade, at his office in Abeokuta earlier today. This visit is part of Mrs. Nasamu's ongoing efforts to engage key stakeholders in the state and foster closer ties.

During the visit, Mrs. Nasamu explained that she had intended to make the visit sooner but was delayed due to the series of Orientation Programmes the NYSC had been conducting. She emphasized the importance of reinforcing the already cordial relationship between the NYSC and the Nigeria Customs Service in Ogun State.

Comptroller Bisi Alade warmly welcomed Mrs. Nasamu and her management team, reminiscing about his own service year in Abeokuta as a Corps Member. He shared fond memories of the friendships he formed with fellow Corps Members from various parts of Nigeria, highlighting the critical role the NYSC plays in promoting national integration and socio-economic development.

"NYSC remains a cornerstone institution for national unity and progress," Comptroller Alade remarked. "The Scheme’s concept is laudable, and we must all work together to ensure its continuity. Corps Members should be encouraged to remain focused and positive-minded as they serve the nation."
