ASUU Announces Winners of 2024 National Scholarship Scheme

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has announced the winners of its 2024 National Scholarship Scheme. The scheme, which is an annual initiative, aims to support and encourage academic excellence among Nigerian university students.

Two students have been selected to receive the ASUU National Award, which comes with a cash prize of N200,000 each. Additionally, the ASUU Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi Branch has awarded substantial amounts to five students.

The shortlisted candidates for the 2024 ASUU National Scholarship are:

1. Tahir Sulaiman (Male) - 22/70950U/2 - Petroleum Engineering

2. Christiana Thomas Harune (Female) - 20/61487U/4 - Industrial Design

The winners will be notified of the date for the award ceremony in due course. The ASUU Annual Scholarship Scheme Committee congratulates the winners and encourages them to continue striving for academic excellence.
