11,912 Candidates Compete for Admission at University of Ibadan for 2024/2025 Session

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Professor Kayode Adebowale, has revealed that a total of 11,912 candidates applied for various undergraduate programmes at the institution for the 2024/2025 academic session.
These applicants recently participated in the university's post-UTME screening tests, which commenced on Thursday. Professor Adebowale, along with other principal officers, supervised the exercise to ensure smooth proceedings.
In a statement released on Saturday, Adebowale noted that the university had made special arrangements for candidates and their parents, providing chairs and canopies for their convenience, as many arrived as early as 6:00 a.m. for the tests.
Candidates were previously instructed to visit the University of Ibadan Admissions Portal to print their photo-cards, which contained essential details such as the examination date, time, and venue.
