Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun Confirms Receipt of N7.44 Million Nigerian Education Loan Fund Disbursement

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun, Prof. Akeem Olawale Lasisi, has confirmed the receipt of N7,448,000 from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELF). The sum represents the first batch of disbursement to 29 successful applicants from the institution.

In a formal communication to the Managing Director of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund Office, Prof. Lasisi acknowledged the payment, which was authenticated through a bank statement obtained from the university's e-collection account at the Central Bank of Nigeria. The funds are intended to provide financial assistance to students at the institution.

The disbursement is expected to support the education of these students, ensuring continued access to academic resources and easing the burden of tuition fees.
