ULBS and USAID Collaborate to hold Workshop for EM-HLSCM Facilitators

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), through its Global Health Supply Chain and Procurement Supplies Management Programme (GHSC-PSM), in collaboration with the University of Lagos Business School (ULBS), successfully concluded a one-week training workshop for facilitators of the newly launched Executive Master of Health Logistics and Supply Chain Management (EM-HLSCM) programme.
Held at the Sheraton Hotels in Ikeja, Lagos, the workshop was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Management Services), Prof. Lucian Chukwu. The training aimed to equip facilitators with the necessary tools to effectively lead the specialized health logistics and supply chain programme, addressing critical challenges in the global health sector.
Participants received training in key areas such as global health supply chain security, ethics and professional conduct, and pandemic logistics. Distinguished speakers included Prof. O. Akinloye, Prof. Aderonke Samuel, and Dr. Mosoka P. Fallah from the Africa Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The workshop concluded with interactive sessions, panel discussions, and a tour of ULBS, followed by a closing ceremony on Friday, September 6, 2024.
