The Sports Unit of Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic, Sokoto, has presented awards of excellence to the Rector, Malam Aliyu Balarabe, in recognition of his exceptional support for sports development at the institution.
The awards were presented by teams that participated in the 2018 NIPOGA games, highlighting the Rector's contributions to the progress and success of the polytechnic’s sports teams.
The presentation, led by the Chairman of the Sports Committee, Malam Magaji, praised Malam Balarabe's commitment to enhancing sports at the institution.
In their speeches, the Deputy Rector (Administration and Academics), the Registrar, and the Sports Director congratulated the Rector and expressed their admiration for his leadership in advancing sports and other sectors within the polytechnic. They also pledged their continued support in driving further development.
