UNIABUJA Gets 13 New Professors

The University of Abuja's management has granted promotions to 23 of its academic staff, elevating them to professorial ranks.In this round of promotions, 13 members of the academic staff were appointed as professors, while 10 others were raised to the rank of associate professors. Dr. Habib Yakoob, the Acting Director of Information and University Relations, made this announcement in a statement released in Abuja on Thursday.

The diverse range of disciplines represented in these promotions highlights the university's commitment to academic excellence. Promotions spanned across several fields, including education foundation, medical microbiology, geography, environmental science, history and diplomatic studies, soil science, Christian religious studies, biological science, statistics, microbiology, veterinary medicine, chemical engineering, public administration, biochemistry, obstetrics and geology, and microbiology and parasitology.

The newly promoted staff received congratulations from Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na’Allah, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja.
