UNIABUJA Swears in New Students Union Government Officials
The newly elected officials of the Students Union Government (SUG) of the University of Abuja were inaugurated yesterday, following their election on March 27th and 28th.

The oath of office was administered to the new leaders, marking the beginning of their tenure.
The event, moderated by the Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. A. G. Umar Kari, was attended by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na'Allah, and other dignitaries.

Bashir Mohammed, a 500 Level student of Veterinary Medicine, was sworn in as the new President of the SUG, while Nkem Silas Alina of the Faculty of Law became the new Speaker of the Students Representatives Assembly.
The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the university's student governance, as the new leaders pledged to serve and represent their fellow students.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Na'Allah, congratulated the new officials and urged them to work towards the betterment of the university community.
The new SUG officials are expected to tackle various student-related issues and promote student welfare, academic excellence, and campus development.
