UNIABUJA to Host 2025 NUGA Games Zone H Preliminaries

The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) is set to host the Zone H preliminaries of the Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA) from September 25 to 30, 2025.

Thirteen institutions from across Nigeria will participate in the event, competing in various sports 

The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mathew Adamu, has inspected the facilities on campus to ensure readiness for the event. Various committees are working tirelessly to guarantee a successful hosting of the games.

The NUGA Games aim to promote sports development and talent identification among university students, aligning with the Federal Government's vision to revive school sports and develop young talents .
