UNICROSS graduates shine in Switzerland

Two graduates of the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), have clinched top positions in an essay competition on tunnelling, held in Switzerland, Myschoolnews report.

They are Abigail Wogor and Emmanuel Ekanem.

Their essay is titled:

"UNDERGROUND SPACE USE AND DEEP TUNNELLING: A SOLUTION TO THE CHALLENGES OF SEWAGE MANAGEMENT AND FLOOD DISASTER IN CALABAR METROPOLIS, CROSS RIVER".

They were invited to Switzerland to discuss and present the essay by International Tunnelling Association (ITACUS) and ROWGA Think Deep Programme.

Interestingly, Abigail Wogor recently emerged as the best graduating student in the Department of Civil Engineering.

She is currently undergoing the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) programme.
