UNIJOS Commences 2023/2024 Post UTME and Direct Entry Admissions
University of Jos announces commencement of 2023/2024 Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercises.
The University of Jos has officially commenced its Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercises for the academic year 2023/2024. This announcement was made via the university's official website, where detailed application procedures have been outlined.
Method of Application:
1. Candidates are required to visit the Unijos portal at portal.unijos.edu.ng.
2. Navigate to the 'FORM APPLICATION' section and select '2023/2024 UTME/DE SCREENING'.
3. Enter their JAMB Registration Number and click 'Get Started'.

4. Provide a valid Contact Phone Number and an active, personalized Email address (not that of relatives or friends).
5. Create a Password for login and confirm it by clicking the 'sign up' button.
6. An email confirmation link will be sent to the candidate's provided email. Upon confirmation, candidates can proceed to login to the portal at https://portal.unijos.edu.ng/Account/Login.
7. From their personalized dashboard, candidates should initiate payment by clicking 'Pay Screening Charges' and select their preferred payment option (ATM Card, Bank Branch, Internet Banking), following the provided instructions.

8. After successful payment, candidates are to enter their five relevant 'O' level subjects, grades, and exam body details. Editing of results will not be allowed after the closure of the post-JAMB screening.
9. Print the Screening Registration Slip, logout from the portal, and await further communication from the University.

Registration Deadline:
The online registration portal for the screening exercise will be open from 10th July, 2024 to 21st July, 2024.
Direct Entry Screening Exercise:
For candidates applying through Direct Entry, the online screening exercise will commence from 22nd July, 2024 to 18th August, 2024. Only candidates who applied through Direct Entry JAMB Admission and selected the University of Jos as their first choice are eligible for this screening. DE applicants must follow the same application steps as UTME candidates, with additional requirements for A-level subjects/qualifications.

JAMB 'O' Level Requirement:
It is mandatory that all candidates upload their 'O' level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, and NBAIS) into the JAMB portal. Failure to comply will result in disqualification from the screening process. Candidates may use a maximum of two different 'O' level examination results.

Candidates who do not meet the University screening conditions are advised to consider changing their course of choice or transferring to other institutions. Providing false information will lead to immediate disqualification.
