The Students’ Union Government (SUG) at the University of Jos has expressed its appreciation to the university management for their decision to reverse the proposed school fee increment for returning students. This commendation follows a fruitful meeting where student leaders and university officials engaged in open discussions about the financial burdens faced by students.

In a joint statement signed by SUG President Sambo Peter and Speaker Joshua Uguwmba, the student body acknowledged the management's willingness to listen and respond to their concerns. The SUG emphasized that the reversal was a positive outcome that demonstrated the university's commitment to accessible education.

The leadership has urged all returning students to refrain from making any payments until the university's dashboard accurately reflects the official school charges. This proactive communication aims to ensure that students remain informed and engaged in university affairs.
