UNIJOS Threatens Withdrawal of Graduates' Certificates Over Poor Moral Character

The University of Jos (UNIJOS) in Plateau State has issued a stern warning that it may revoke the degrees of graduates found to exhibit poor moral character. Professor Tanko Ishaya, the Vice-Chancellor of UNIJOS, emphasized that this decision was made to uphold the institution's reputation, considering the positive impact its alumni have worldwide.

The Vice-Chancellor highlighted the university's commitment to maintaining a high standard of discipline and ethical conduct among its students and alumni. He revealed that out of 57,333 candidates, only 8,469, including three foreigners, were accepted into the university.
This move by UNIJOS reflects its dedication to upholding ethical standards and ensuring that its graduates contribute positively to society, aligning with the institution's vision of producing well-rounded individuals with a strong moral foundation.
