Mr. Ola Olukoyede, an old student of the University of Lagos has been appointed as the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) by President Bola Tinubu. Mr. Olukoyede brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role, having pursued his education at prestigious institutions such as Lagos State University, the University of Lagos, the Institute of Arbitration in ICC - Paris, France, and the University of Harvard's Kennedy School of Executive Education.

With a distinguished legal career spanning over twenty-two years, Mr. Olukoyede has established himself as a regulatory compliance consultant and a specialist in fraud management and corporate intelligence. His extensive experience in the operations of the EFCC is undeniable, having previously served as the Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman from 2016 to 2018 and as the Secretary to the Commission from 2018 to 2023.
