The Centre for Housing and Sustainable Development (CHSD) at the University of Lagos has entered into a partnership with the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) to launch a training and certification programme for housing developers.

The initiative is designed to promote professionalism, enforce industry standards, and restore public trust in Nigeria’s real estate sector.

Speaking on the need for the programme, representatives of the CHSD noted that for years, the industry has faced challenges stemming from inadequate professionalism and a trust deficit. “This program will help correct that by instilling knowledge and accountability,” they said.
