MSSN Al-Istiqama University Sumaila Branch to Host Hijab Day Program

The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Al-Istiqama University Sumaila (AUSU) Branch, is set to host a Hijab Day Program on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Magami Hall, Al-Istiqama University.

The event aims to enlighten participants on the significance of the hijab in Islam, its role in promoting modesty, and its importance in the identity of Muslim women.

The program will commence with joint sessions for both male and female participants at 9:00 AM. By 10:30 AM, male participants will exit the hall, allowing the continuation of the lecture exclusively for female participants.

The program seeks to foster respect, awareness, and unity within the community by promoting understanding and practice of this vital aspect of Islamic life. All students, staff, and members of the public are warmly invited to attend and support this initiative.

Al-Istiqama University Sumaila is a privately-owned university located in Kano State, Nigeria. The university offers various undergraduate programs across three faculties: Faculty of Basic Health Science, Faculty of Science and Computing, and Faculty of Art and Social Sciences.
