On Monday, March 16, 2026, the Management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) held a special commemorative event to honour the immediate past Dean of Student Affairs (DSA), Professor Musa Obalola. The reception was organized in recognition of his impactful leadership and the successful completion of his administrative tenure. 

During the ceremony, university principal officers lauded Professor Obalola for his dedication to student welfare and his ability to maintain a stable, harmonious relationship between the student body and the university administration. His tenure was characterized by:

In his response, Professor Obalola thanked the university management, staff of the DSA office, and the entire student body for their cooperation during his term.
