In celebration of his 60th birthday, Professor Mike Adebamowo, an esteemed figure in Architecture at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has launched the Professor Mike Adebamowo Foundation (PMAF). This foundation aims to provide crucial support to indigent university students, ensuring they can pursue their education without financial hindrances.

Professor Adebamowo , also serving as the Executive Director of UNILAG Business School, expressed gratitude for the scholarships that facilitated his own education and inspired him to establish the foundation. With an initial fund of N60 million, the foundation seeks to alleviate the financial burdens faced by underprivileged students, fostering their intellectual growth and character development.

Chairing the board of trustees, Pastor Toks Oshokoya outlined the foundation's comprehensive approach, which includes not only financial assistance but also continuous monitoring, mentorship, and job-related support for beneficiaries. The foundation will rigorously select beneficiaries and maintain transparency in its processes.
