To secure admission through the UTME entry route, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

1. Age Requirement: Candidates must have attained the age of 16 years. This is subject to change as the Federal Government proposed age for entry into Universities is 18 years

2. O'Level Results: A minimum of six "Cs (Credits)" grades in O'level results is mandatory. These credits must include English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects relevant to the intended course of study. For instance, prospective law students must obtain at least a "C" grade in English Language, Mathematics, Government/History, Economics, and Literature in English.

3. JAMB UTME Score: Candidates must achieve a minimum score of 200 in the JAMB UTME examination.

4. Post UTME Screening: Applicants are required to undergo UNILAG's post UTME screening examination and perform satisfactorily, with performance standards varying depending on the chosen course.

5. One Sitting Results: Only results from a single sitting are acceptable for admission into UNILAG.

6. Subject Combination: It is imperative for candidates to select the correct subject combination relevant to their chosen courses.

7. Cutoff Marks: Candidates must meet the prescribed cutoff marks for their respective courses to be considered for admission.

Direct Entry Requirements:

For candidates opting for Direct Entry admission into UNILAG, the following prerequisites apply:

1. O'Level Results: A minimum of five credits in O'level results, including English Language and Mathematics, is compulsory. However, multiple sitting results are not permissible.

2. Age Requirement: Candidates must have attained the age of 16 years.

3. JAMB Direct Entry Form: Applicants are required to obtain the JAMB Direct Entry form from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to initiate the application process.

4. Accepted Certificates: Candidates must possess any of the following certificates: OND, ND, NCE, IJMB, Cambridge A level, BSc, or HND.
