Professor Folasade Ogunsola, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has been honored with the esteemed Leadership Tribute Colloquium Award by the Centre for Values in Leadership (CVL). The award, presented at the 64th edition of the Leader Without Title Colloquium, held at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Lagos, recognizes Prof. Ogunsola's exceptional contributions to tertiary education in Nigeria.

Prof. Ogunsola was one of three distinguished awardees, alongside counterparts from Lagos State University (LASU) and Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). The Founder/CEO of CVL, Professor Pat Utomi, commended the Vice-Chancellors for breaking barriers, challenging norms, and enhancing university administration in Nigeria.

In her remarks during the colloquium, Prof. Ogunsola emphasized her commitment to fostering gender emancipation and advancing leadership in education. Barrister Abimbola Salu Hundeyin, representing the Secretary to Lagos State Government, lauded Prof. Ogunsola and her fellow awardees for their impactful contributions to tertiary education. Dr. Kemi Ogunyemi, Special Adviser to the Governor on Health, highlighted their role in inspiring future generations through sacrifice and perseverance.
