UNILAG and two other African university, University of Rwanda, Rwanda and University of Nairobi, Kenya win African Engineering and Technology Network (AFRETEC) Research Grant.

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) Water Security Research Team and a consortium of two other African universities, University of Rwanda, Rwanda and University of Nairobi, Kenya, have won the African Engineering and Technology Network (AFRETEC) Research Grant for a project titled: Strengthening Water Access and Quality in Selected African Countries.

The value of the award is Two Hundred and Eighty Six Thousand, Five Hundred and Sixty Four US Dollars ($286,564), and the duration of the research project is three years, commencing from June 1, 2023.

The UNILAG Water Security Research Team led by Prof. M.O.H. Amuda of the Department of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering includes:
