The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has officially denied rumors circulating about the reintroduction of electronic examinations (E-Examination) for students and a supposed exam date shift to July 16, 2024.

In a statement released by the university administration, it was confirmed that the first semester examinations for the 2023/2024 academic session have been rescheduled to start on June 3, 2024, instead of the original date of May 20, 2024. This change is aimed at ensuring adequate preparation and complete syllabus coverage.
